Description
Incredible antique Italian oil painting on linen. The subject of the painting is not known but could be the Madonna or an Italian saint. The gilt frame is not original but is from the mid 1800's - the ages of the frame and painting have been verified by an art expert. This painting is in very good condition for its age, there are some cracks, chips and ripples (see detailed photos). Italy, late 17th century.
